Harlaw Reservoir lies at the foot of the Pentland Hills on Malleny Estate. This is a very scenic reservoir that has easy access from Edinburgh being only one mile south of Balerno. Potential fishing spots surround the reservoir and although popular, it's always possible to find tranquility here.

The fishing rights are currently let to Malleny Angling Association. Anglers keen to find out more should contact them directly.

Day permits are available to visiting anglers from the Post Office in Balerno. (3 Main St.)
